Annie Lee is the founder and principal planner for Daughter of Design ®, a leading wedding planning firm recently listed as one of the top 20 industry MVP’s by The Knot and a “Top Planner” by Martha Stewart Weddings. This designer boutique firm believes “banquet” is a dirty word and is known and recognized for their contemporary and downtown approach to classic wedding traditions, always creating current and fresh designs. As a planner who is constantly working with newly engaged couples and their families, Annie often found herself playing wedding professor, teaching the same wedding terms to new clients. She created these beginner-level flashcards to help acclimate newbies to the wedding world and hopefully remove some of the haze that surrounds it.
Daughter of Design®, is the sought after authority on fashion and design trends, and recently planned the 1st New Year’s Eve wedding in Times Square and 14 Valentine’s Day weddings atop the Empire State Building. Annie is originally from Palos Verdes, CA but has spent over a decade planning events in California, New York and South Florida, working for such companies as the San Francisco Opera and Tribeca Film Festival. She received her degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
